MENUS & LINKS
To find sections of the website related to information you are seeking, move your cursor over the buttons in the various navigation areas. Some navigation areas will expand drop down menus with choices that can be selected by clicking on them. The top navigation bars appear on every page of the site.
Throughout the website, blue hyperlinks may be used to obtain informational documents or to be redirected to another web page. A user simply needs to click on the blue text to be redirected.
If you get lost or can't find what you are looking for, the site search function may be used. The search function is located below the top navigation bar on the right side of every page.
To use the Search function, simply type a search term in the text box and click on the "GO" button. The search term will be checked against all content pages within the site and a list of results will be generated. Clicking on items in the list will take you to the page which includes the search term.
BREAD CRUMBS & HOME PAGE
On most pages you will see a breadcrumb trail under the top navigation bar. This tells you where you are within the site, for example, the breadcrumb shows which department or service area you are viewing and the subsection within that area of the site.
At any time you can click on the top left City logo to be taken to the front page of the website. Likewise, you can click on other breadcrumbs, where available, to be taken to the main page of the section you are currently viewing. If you find you have moved to a page you don't want to be on, you can use the back button (at the top of your browser tool bar), or select a link from one of the top navigation menus that appear on every page.
NOTE: Additional specifications for the city website are currently in development.
